Sponsored by Jelf Insurance, the Awards recognised the latest innovations for the theatre industry. Axient was recognised by the judging panel for its “clever frequency management”, as well as its spectral efficiency, allowing large numbers of wireless channels to operate simultaneously in a challenging environment.
Other pro audio firm’s recognised on the night were Red Square Audio, who received an honourable mention for its range of innovative products, and D&B Audiotechnik for its 4S miniature loudspeaker.
The Awards ceremony concluded with a collection for the First Night Riders, setting off on Saturday the 18th visiting theatres around the UK raising money for the Theatrical Guild.
