Miloco has expanded its roster three new European recording studios – Music Lan, The Cabin and Forward Studios Caesar.

Based near Girona in Catalonia, Spain, Music Lan Studios (pictured) boasts views of the Pyrenees Mountains and combines state-of-the-art equipment and inspiring surroundings, making it an ideal facility for those seeking a new creative location.

The studio has three main live areas – a large room with changeable reverb, a medium-size room and a booth. Between them they offer different acoustic options, as well as a wide variety of microphones, guitars, drums, keyboards and amplifiers. The control room offers two consoles – an SSL 4000 E and a 24-channel Neve 8036, which are both accompanied by a host of high quality outboard gear.

Home to writer and producer Tom Fuller, The Cabin – based at the new Tileyard Studio in Kings Cross – is the latest in a number of London writing/recording studios Miloco are now representing.

The Cabin was designed and custom-built to be a versatile space, able to accommodate any small to medium-sized project. Split between a 15-square-metre control room with Audient Zen console and a 13-square-metre live space, the studio offers plenty of natural daylight and views across central London, as well as an extensive virtual instrument collection, a good selection of outboard and microphones, plus an adjoining live room that enables the space to be used as a traditional recording studio if required.

Forward Studios Caesar is a leading recording complex in Rome, Italy, which provides both high end technology and a creative atmosphere.

The control room, main live space and three recording booths are all well lit and spacious, while the equipment spec is based around a Neve 88R console, Pro Tools HD 3 rig, top-end monitors and an impressive outboard offering. For bands wanting to record, there is also plenty in the way of of microphones and backline.

The studio is based in a three-storey Roman-style villa on the outskirts of Rome, with views across the city.
