Focusrite is offering all PSNPresents attendees the chance to win a RedNet 6 MADI bridge, worth over £1,600.
Visitors can enter by simply registering their details in person on the day (12 March).
RedNet is Focusrite’s flagship range of modular Ethernet-networked audio interfaces designed to bring studio-quality sound to any modern audio application. The scalable near-zero-latency audio distribution system can be used to expand I/O channel count, interface digital components, and/or bridge between Pro Tools HD/MADI and a Dante audio network.
PSNPresents, inspired by The Pre-Roll section of last year’s Pro Sound Awards, is centred around a sequence of on-stage interviews and panels with leading lights from the pro-audio spectrum. Focusrite was confirmed as the first event sponsor last month.
Charles ‘Chicky’ Reeves, who swapped tales of life on the road with Grace Jones and Prince at The Pre-Roll in September, is the latest confirmed guest. He will join Massive Attack’s Robb Allan on a panel to discuss the highs and lows of working in the live sound scene. More panelists will be announced soon.
While the live sound panel will fill the second half of the evening’s entertainment, the first half will see BAFTA-nominated Scott Talbott, craft manager at BBC Studios and Post Production; Strictly Come Dancing sound supervisor Andy Tapley and the National Theatre’s head of sound and video Jonathan Suffolk in a Q&A session about the challenges of live sound in the broadcast and theatre environments.
PSNPresents will take place at the Ham Yard Hotel, London, on Thursday 12 March from 6.45pm with a 7.30pm start. Tickets are £35.
A variety of sponsorship packages are available for the event. For more information, contact Ryan O’Donnell (firstname.lastname@example.org), Darrell Carter (email@example.com) or Rian Zoll-Khan (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
