Italian loudspeaker manufacturer Outline is showcasing a selection of point source and line array loudspeaker lines, as well as an interactive loudspeaker measurement display, at ISE 2016 (Booth 7-E220).
The new ultra-compact, high-power Vegas 24 (pictured) is ideal for balcony fill, front fill and delay applications. The lightweight unit is optimised for 'superb vocal and instrument intelligibility and clarity' due to its high Common Intelligibility Scale (CIS) rating.
Also on display in Amsterdam, the STADIA 100 LA installation loudspeaker series is designed to combine the key principles of cylindrical line-sources with several patented Outline technologies to deliver versatile and powerful solutions for stadiums, theme parks, arenas and large churches, along with transportation and sporting facilities.
There are three models to choose from, and the 100° wide loudspeaker comes in 10°, 20° and 30° vertical patterns. High SPL can be delivered cost effectively with pinpoint accuracy, according to the company. EASE .gll and Outline Open Array prediction software provides complex acoustical data for expert designers as well.
Finally, Outline is bringing a measurement lab to the show, which will allow visitors to personally measure and analyse the 16 different horn patterns available with the Compass Series smart loudspeakers. The display incorporates Outline’s ET 250-3D electronic turntable for polar measurements, multiple Compass loudspeakers in combination with SMAART v7, and real-time spectrographs.
An updated version of Outline's iMode DSP app – featuring full DSP, unlimited equalisation, intelligent monitoring, iPad/iPhone control and available on iTunes – is new this year too.
ISE 2016 takes place from 9-12 February at Amsterdam RAI.
