The Institute of Professional Sound (IPS) has announced the schedule for Audio Knowledge Base 2015 – The IPS Training Weekend.

The weekend-long event will offer seminars, lectures, training and Q&A sessions taking place from February 6th to 8th 2015, and aimed at professional practitioners in all audio fields – capture, post, live and new media.

Like the 2014 event, Knowledge Base 2015 will be held at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Topics to be covered by industry-renowned speakers during the course of the weekend will include audio over IP, sound design for games, developments in digital routing and distribution, marketing yourself as an audio professional, updates to post-production tools, and audio capture for Formula 1.

Visitors will also get the opportunity for a hands-on look at some of the latest hardware aimed at recording and post-production professionals.

Anyone booking tickets to Audio Knowledge Base 2015 before the end of December 31st 2014 can benefit from a 10 ten Early Bird discount.

Ticket owners will get access to all of the events, overnight accommodation and meals, refreshments, WiFi and the ability to use the venue’s leisure facilities.

Reduced rates are also available to IPS members and members of some audio-related Guilds and organisations.
