BVE rebranding for 2017

Organiser says the new brand reflects a broader approach to the broadcast market expanding into the connected media and creative industries.

BVE has undergone an extensive rebrand to reflect the latest technologies and creative experiences that will shape the future of broadcast, connected media, production, post, live production and AV systems integration.

The organiser says that it recognises the entertainment and media industry’s convergence with adjacent creative industries, most recently with the introduction of VR and AR, and believes the new branding reflects the cutting edge, immersive, modern and fluid stance the broadcast industry is adopting.

The event will also continue to expand into the Pro AV and live entertainment technology sectors, as well as representing the connected media, branded content and immersive tech worlds through key partnerships and insightful content in the theatres.

In addition to the new branding, BVE has implemented various new features to improve the overall BVE experience. Launching this year is the ‘BVE Meeting Service’, matching visitors’ product interests with exhibitors, allowing a streamlined and focused selling and buying approach. The new service will be available on the BVE website and accessible through the BVE app, which has made a return for 2017. Both exhibitors and visitors will be able to plan their days, access content and news, take part in discussions and make use of a useful messaging feature. Additional new elements of the show will be revealed in the coming weeks.

“It is our job to bring people and technology together, to lead the future of entertainment and media. One of the responsibilities of being successful in that role is to be at the forefront of our industry, recognising the trends and the direction in which the industry is going,” said BVE event manager Daniel Sacchelli. “We are constantly seeing boundaries of broadcast, production, post-production and consumer experiences expanding - no longer are we confined to the television set, something that is reflected by our exhibitors, theatre content and visitors. Our new brand is reflective of the industry’s fluidity and I am very excited to be debuting it ahead of what is set to be the most exciting BVE yet.”

BVE 2017 will take place from 28 February – 2 March 2017 at ExCeL London.
