British loudspeaker manufacturer Precision Devices supported a number of the floats at the 2013 Notting Hill Carnival, in partnership with MLC Audio.

The Channel One (North West London) sound system, which has been using Precision Devices drivers since the mid-'90s, featured on two floats this year. The larger float was equipped with 32 PD bass drivers, 14 midrange drivers, 14 two-inch compression drivers and 24 JBL Bullets powered by Powersoft, PKN, Crown and Void amplification. The small float, meanwhile, which is radio linked, offered 14 bass drivers, four midrange drivers, four two-inch compression drivers and eight one-inch compression drivers powered by Lab.gruppen, Matrix and Void amps.

Vybz Mas Band's float, featuring a sound system owned and operated by London's Kayak Audio, also received support from Precision Devices this year, and so too did Soca Saga Boys' float.

The 2013 Notting Hill Carnival – Europe's biggest street festival – took place on August 25th and 26th.
