NAMM 2012 HOT Zone to address pro audio concerns

NAMM 2012 is set to address a number of pro audio concerns with regards to production and engineering as part of its HOT Zone feature.

Taking place from January 19-22nd in Anaheim, California, NAMM 2012 will be offering a series of educational and ideas sessions as part of its HOT Zone. Although predominantly an MI-heavy event, the HOT Zone will be taking a number of pro audio concerns into consideration, particularly with regards to production and engineering.

Kicking things of on Thursday 19th is The Virtual Recording Studio Programme, whereby visitors will be invited into a 3D replication of a world class recording studio, providing the opportunity to learn professional recording tools and techniques.

The Recording Technology Workshop, which also takes place on the 19th, offers a hands-on skill session of the latest hardware and software tools for recording and processing audio from the SAE Institute.

Friday 20th will see an array of sessions on offer, including The Psychology of Producing Hit Songs and ProTools Clinic, as well as the Audio Mastering Conference and an Engineer/Producer Forum, featuring some of the world’s top studio engineers and producers, discussing the latest tips, techniques, and issues affecting the world of studio recording and production.

Taking place on Saturday 21st will be Producing in the Cloud, a master class, which will discuss how to put the power of the cloud in the hands of digital media creators, providing on-demand storage and processing throughout the creative process.
