UK production supplier White Light are set to launch a new multi-purpose studio facility at its Wimbledon premises.

Featuring its own dedicated entrance and hospitality suite, Studio 15 incorporates a high-specification infrastructure including a large format meeting area with video conferencing, pre and post-production audio and video editing suites and a 120sqm dedicated rehearsal, teaching and product demonstration space.

The multi-purpose venue offers the market accessible space facilitating full technical rehearsals within London, with the resource to make up-to-the-minute final edits to material. Studio 15 will also be utilised as a hub for White Light’s clients to develop bespoke creative content for their events, as well as host industry masterclasses.

Lee Dennison, White Light’s head of audio commented: “So far in 2015 White Light has built on its renowned reputation as a leading complete production supplier, with expansion into full audio and video services. Studio 15 sees that expertise and major investment culminate in an unrivalled offer for the corporate market and one that will enable us to diversify our in-house capabilities even further. Working with our chosen manufacturers we have installed a state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting infrastructure.

"The audio is based around a Dante network as well as the latest product offering from Yamaha/Shure/EM Acoustics/Full Fat Audio. This offers our Projects and Installations teams, as well as our sales teams, the perfect sales and demo space to showcase the current market trends and technology to our clients, as well as providing first-class technical facilities for client pre production and rehearsal sessions.”

As an approved supplier to a number of London’s venues, White Light understands that sufficient time and space to conduct full run-throughs for major events are in high demand, as Dennison noted: “With restricted access ahead of time to the public attractions we work in, we listened to our customers and saw the opportunity to launch a one-stop facility accommodating their requirements. In turn, this is a valued service that our partner venues can pass onto their clients when on-site rehearsal space is not available pre-event.”

AMI spoke to Dennison back in our January issue as White Light moved to open its new sound department. Read more here.
