The visitor pre-registration figure for PLASA Focus: Leeds 2013 has already reached 3,000 – a new record.
Now firmly established as the leading industry event for the North of England, the show takes place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on April 30th and May 1st 2013, with a total of 133 different companies from all areas of the live entertainment and installation markets set to attend.
The sold-out exhibition floor will feature new products from Electro-Voice, Martin Audio, d&b audiotechnik, Midas, JoeCo, Stage Electrics, LMC Audio Systems, A.C. Entertainment Technologies, and many more.
The popular PLASA Professional Development Programme will once again be packed with expert speakers, covering every aspect of the audio and lighting industries. Each day will close with a keynote speech: on the opening day Professor Harald Haas plans to discuss how LEDs may be harnessed, rather than radio waves, to transmit data, while pro audio legend Tony Andrews is concluding the show on Wednesday with a conversation about how he believes audio technology can improve the human listening experience.
Other highlights include How to Soundcheck! from FOH engineer Jon Burton, Lucy Ockenden's The Integration of Video and New Technologies on Björk's Biophillia Tour, Demystifying Audio Techniques and Why Size Matters from d&b audiotechnik and Wayne Howell's Networking for Roadies.
