Loudspeaker manufacturer Genelec is to showcase their range of audio tech at the ISE 2012 event including their 4000 series loudspeakers and new 1238CF three-way monitor.
As well as showcasing their various bits of kit, Genelec will also be running, as highlighted last week by Audio Pro International, an audio skills course at their booth allowing attendees to get truly hands-on with the Genelec gear and gain some useful free training as well.
“It’s nice to be offering something at bit different at ISE 2012,” explained Finland-based Genelec’s Marketing Manager, Terho Savolainen. “Practical training in audio installation can be really useful and ISE is the perfect platform to reach integrators. Although the training sessions are going to be relaxed affairs, the content is going to be targeted at giving attendees the confidence to tackle all types of audio installation. Our 4000 Series is the perfect loudspeaker product for this market and in partnership with our training and technical support we have the perfect offering for the market.”
One of the pieces of kit on show will be the newest addition to the 4000 range of loudspeakers, the 4040A. According to Genelec, this provides the same high quality of the company’s studio products whilst providing the extra power often required for installation purposes.
To this end, the 4040A has a large tweeter and powerful amplifier. With these included, the 4040A is perfectly suited for use in large conference rooms and auditoria and provides an excellent level of clarity and Sound Pressure Level (SPL). What is more, as with all products in the range the 4040A is fitted with ‘Phoenix’ screw terminals. This inclusion, common for leading products in the AV industry, ensures an easy and secure connection and, importantly, interference-free sound.
Genelec will also be displaying the new addition to their DSP range of monitors, the 1238CF, at the Amsterdam event which runs from January 29th to February 2nd.
The 1238CF is a three-way monitor which features Genelec’s future-proof DSP technology. The monitor is also compatible with the proprietary control software, Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM).
GLM allows users automatic control and calibration functionality which, along with the Genelec AutoCal algorithm, allows the precise matching of the loudspeaker system to different acoustic conditions with just a handful of mouse clicks. What is more, the 1238CF can be combined with Genelec’s 8200/7200 series of products in the same control network.
Genelec will be at Booth No. IK76 at the Integrated Systems Europe event being held at the Amsterdam RAI building.
