Audio Pro International’s month-by-month rundown of 2011 continues, as we take a look back at September.
September saw US rockers Foo Fighter take to the road with Midas’ Pro6 console as part of their extensive world tour, while world-famous Abbey Road studios installed a Solid State Logic Duality SE console in its new production/mix room Studio 52.
Also making the headlines in September was Mark Cunningham, who offered his take on the controversial cancellation of the Live Culture Expo 2012 event.
PLASA also arrived in September, with the API award winners being announced at the Earls Court event, which notably saw industry veteran Charlie Watkins pick up the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Furthermore, the London event saw major new products launched in the form of the Midas Pro2 and Cadac CD8 consoles.
