Wharfedale Pro has announced its appointment of Rob Kerr to the position of pro-audio sales manager.
Kerr has been hired to fill the role vacated by Chris Fearn, who joined Adam Hall earlier this month.
With a long career in the pro-audio and MI markets, Kerr has worked for a number of leading brands, including Yamaha Pro Music, Roland and most recently Peavey, where he served as national sales manager for the UK and Ireland.
Wharfedale Pro director, Tim Harris, commented on the appointment: “Following the departure of Chris Fearn to pastures new we are delighted to be joined by a sales professional of the caliber of Rob. We are looking forward to working with Rob to growing our business in all areas of pro audio and working closely with dealers and installers to provide support where needed.”
Kerr added: “I am extremely pleased to be working with a fantastic brand with great heritage that actually originates from my part of the world (Yorkshire). With an enviable portfolio of existing products and some exciting new products just around the corner, this opportunity represents an exciting challenge to further expand and develop the business in the UK & Ireland.”
Former national sales and marketing manager Fearn spent 12 and a half years at Wharfedale, and at Adam Hall assumes responsibility for the development and expansion of the company’s UK and Irish business. This will include planning for and executing initiatives to create greater market penetration of the company's core brands LD Systems, Cameo Light and Palmer.
