London post house Molinare and Manchester’s oldest independent post-production facility Flix have formed a strategic and creative alliance designed to benefit their clients and meet the ever-changing needs of the industry.
The companies say that sharing technical and creative resources will help bridge the regional gap and allow for a bespoke, seamless workflow to support their clients behind the scenes, while allowing them to carry out post in their location of choice with their creative talent of choice.
The collaboration could enable clients to take advantage of regional access as they require, including editing their production at Flix’s recently opened facility in White Tower at MediaCityUK, and benefiting from Molinare’s creative talent in London, utilising the technical support of both firms. This could also enable Molinare’s clients to gain from access to Flix’s award-winning animation department.
“We are delighted to be uniting with Flix for this regional strategic partnership,” commented Julie Parmenter, MD of Molinare. “We want to offer our clients the best service we can, wherever they need to work. The importance of Manchester cannot be underestimated, and with Flix’s reputation and excellent facilities, they were the obvious partner for us.”
Flix MD Leo Casserly added: “We are very excited to be partnering with Molinare, with both companies now being able to offer a seamless end to end post production solution between London and Manchester, giving clients ultimate flexibility in how and where they want to tailor their post. The Management teams at both Flix and Molinare share a clear vision and similar values which were key elements in the creation of the partnership between the two companies.”
