JHS has appointed Matt Flavell as its new pro-audio area sales manager for Southern UK and Ireland.
Having completed his undergraduate studies in Music Technology and Management, Flavell began his career by joining Sony Music's Digital Operations Team, where he gained knowledge of the recorded music business, managing key account relationships and product delivery.
Further experience in the retail sales sector saw Flavell work with customers at the other end of the product cycle and learn about the provision of high quality products, customer service, as well as obtain insight into the current market challenges and dynamics of consumer demands.
Most recently, Flavell has been responsible for a vast array of event technology products within the Adam Hall Group acting as a sales representative across the UK and Ireland, and now looks forward to specialising in pro-audio products – an area that reflects his personal interests – at JHS.

Flavell will start his new role at JHS with a trip to HK Audio in Germany at the start of April, where he will get a chance to see the firm's manufacturing and distribution facilities.
