Nick Pemberton of Sennheiser UK has been given a new market development manager role after three years as sales manager, Production Sound.

Reporting to Sennheiser's director of sales for Professional Audio, Integrated Systems and MI, Gerry Forde, Pemberton is now responsible for the strategic development of the firm’s markets, particularly in new and yet-to-be-developed areas.

“Sennheiser and Neumann are currently creating new and exciting products for sectors within which we are not traditionally known. These include the government, corporate and IT markets, to name a few,” Forde commented. “Nick’s new position requires a high level of audio knowledge across a broad range of applications, as well as strong commercial experience. I have no doubt that he will be very successful in such a forward-looking role.”

Pemberton will work closely with product and account managers to set up new opportunities, launch products and generally help to grow the Sennheiser and Neumann brands, as well as Sennheiser UK’s distributed third party products. Initially focusing on the broadcast, theatre and integrated systems sectors, he will also be required to train internal team members to develop and maintain product and market knowledge.

“These are exciting times for Sennheiser UK,” Pemberton said. “I’m very pleased to be given this new challenge and looking forward to seeing where it might lead me and the whole team as we develop new areas of the business.”
