The new version 5.1 upgrade to the Studer Vista 1 console brings Lexicon's powerful effects processing to the broadcast console.
“The new software enables the built-in Lexicon FX surround processors [2 engines with up to 8 mono effects processors] for the Vista 1, controlled directly from the Vistonics™ U/I, all in one very compact footprint,” commented product manager Roger Heiniger.
Since the launch of the more compact all-in-one Vista 1 at ISE 2013, the console has been adopted by a number of broadcasters including, most recently, Austrian OB specialist MIKO Event & Rental, who purchased a Vista 1 for install in a newly configured OB van.
Other applications for the Studer Vista 1 include theatres, houses of worship, live, and music production. It is available in 32 or 22 motorised fader options, featuring the patented Vistonics and FaderGlow user interfaces and is capable of 96 DSP channels including 5.1 surround, true broadcast monitoring, talkback, red light control and GPIO.
