The global electronic media and entertainment industry will head to Amsterdam's RAI once again in September for IBC 2013 (International Broadcasting Convention).

Over 50,000 visitors from 160 countries attend the show every year to access new products and information, as well as take part in informal debates, meetings, demonstrations and networking opportunities. Key decision makers that shape the future of the industry head to the show to see over 300 speakers at the conference, together with more than 1,400 international suppliers across the venue's 14 halls.

Another one of the show's major main attractions is the IBC Conference, which will cover a number of critical topics, such as Big Data, Emerging Markets and the Future of the Broadcasting Industry. Conference sessions have been planned to address and challenge the way that the industry is changing.

This year's conference speakers are a blend of acknowledged experts, high calibre international speakers, industry 'thought-leaders', and innovative new players in the market. IBC 2013 keynotes include Andreas Bereczky, executive vice president of technology and production, ZDF German Television, Germany; Andy Brown, chairman, Kantar Media, UK; Michael Comish, CEO Digital, UK Entertainment, Tesco, UK; Rajesh Kamat, CEO, CA Media, India; Harit Nagpal, MD and CEO, Tata Sky, India; Frederic Rose, CEO, Technicolor, France; Man Jit Singh, CEO, Multi Screen Media Private Limited (Sony), India and Tony Wang, general manager, Twitter, UK.

A programme of special events has also been announced, from 'Rising Stars' – for those new to the industry – to the IBC Leaders’ Summit, an exclusive, invitation-only event for those setting the agenda for the future.

IBC 2013 will also offer a host of unique Feature Areas, including IBC Workflow Solutions, IBC Production Insight, IBC Connected World, the Future Zone and the IBC Big Screen.

Recognising that every attendee and delegate has different needs, budgets and timeframes, IBC has developed a range of different pass options. The Exhibition pass, which is free until mid-August, allows unrestricted access to all 14 Halls, including all of IBC’s unique Feature Areas. Conference passes include the exclusive IBC Gold Pass, together with Silver and Bronze passes, which have been specifically tailored to allow the flexibility necessary to effectively manage time at the event.
