iZotope launches Neutron Elements

iZotope has released Neutron Elements, a simpler and cheaper alternative to the full version of the Neutron mixing plug-in released last year, for producers and podcasters on a budget.

Incorporating several of the key features from Neutron, which was reviewed by Audio Media International in November 2016, this is a plug-in that will help users to achieve better sounding mixes with ease and speed, iZotope says.

These features include:

Track Assistant – iZotope’s ‘revolutionary’ machine learning mixing assistant lets the user create a custom preset based on their audio

Track identification – Neutron Elements will automatically identify instrument, drum, and vocal tracks and add clarity and balance using spectral shaping technology

EQ Learn – Listens to an audio track and helps eliminate harshness, sibilance, and resonance in seconds

Four single band processors (EQ, Compressor, Transient Shaper, and Exciter) – A suite of tools for shaping and sculpting audio

Over 200 presets

Until 30 June 2017, Neutron Elements is available for £77.95 (normally £99.95) from UK distributor Time + Space.

Neutron Elements users who find themselves looking for additional control and processing power are also being offered special-priced upgrades to Neutron and Neutron Advanced.
