NHK invests in Merging

Japan’s national broadcaster NHK is to use Merging Technologies converters Hapi and Horus with Avid Pro Tools audio workstations.

NHK’s music recording studios division has placed an order for three Hapi and two Horus Networked Audio Converters.

These will be fitted with nine AD8DP input boards and nine DA8P digital to analogue converters.

These will be used with Pro Tools to record high sampling rate PCM audio in the music studios.
