The Miloco group has announced a brand new partnership with La Fabrique Residential Recording Studio in the South of France.
Set in a 19th Century 14-bedroom villa, the studio is located near Marseille on the French Riviera and offers a vast amount of high-end equipment and recording spaces. A large control room is centred around a Neve 88R 72 channel console, while the control room aims to provide optimum monitoring and a selection of outboard gear. Meanwhile, tape enthusiasts can use a Studer A800 MK2 2” tape machine. Otherwise, recording is to Pro Tools HD.
One of the key features of La Fabrique is its array of different acoustic recording spaces. The four live areas – The Library, The Mill, The Dark Room and, for an extra cost, the vast Arcades room – each offer very different sounds and recording options.
Furthermore, the quality of studios’ accommodation is designed to match its recording capabilities, boasting its own swimming pool and park. Clients can also make use of a private gym, a masseuse and yoga coach. The mansion also houses an enormous collection of classical music, with more than 200,000 vinyls alongside 30,000 films and thousands of books. Guests are provided with an in-house cook serving authentic French cuisine made from fresh local produce.
Bike and horse riding, hang gliding, wine tasting and dining in many of the area’s restaurants are also available away from the studio. La Fabrique clients with full driving licences are insured to use a car owned by the studio (currently an Audi A8 4,2 Quattro).
