Salzbrenner Stagetec’s Pantura digital public address and voice evacuation system has been approved by the German VdS Schadenverhütung.
The Pantura system was certified by VdS, an independent institution that ensures safety and confidence in the fields of fire protection and security, back in December 2011 according to the new product directive EN 54-16.
Having come into effect last year, the new product directive is designed to determine many aspects of the mandatory specifications that must be met by PA systems when they are used in fire alarm systems. And as the requirements of VdS exceed EN 54-16, VdS approval is regarded as a sign of optimum security and quality. So far, only a small portion of voice alarm systems on the German market have been approved by VdS.
Pantura is a digital public address and voice evacuation system, which is aimed at providing flexibility and scalability. Applications range from small public address systems to large scale communication systems in conjunction with Salzbrenner Stagetec Performance Control. Pantura installations can be found at the ‘Wormser’ Culture and Conference Centre, in the City of Worms, Germany, the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece and at the Cuvillies Theatre in Munich, Germany.
