One week to go until PLASA's second Glasgow show
Exhibitors including Adlib, Ward Steedsy Audio and Apex Acoustics have revealed what they'll be displaying at the SECC next week.
With just seven days to go until PLASA Focus: Glasgow 2016, a number of audio exhibitors have revealed what they have in store for visitors to the SECC on 20-21 January.
Ward Steedsy Audio (Stand B14) will be joining the line-up at PLASA Focus Glasgow with a variety of products from Funktion-One, including the company's latest EVO7 speaker. There will also be demos of the new 'SB210A' self-powered standalone bass unit, with two satellite speakers which are ideal for home or studio use. Attendees will also find brand new units from NST DSP and the full range of Full Fat Audio amplifiers including the second generation DSP6004 amp, as well as various Neutrik products such as the XIRIUM PRO.
In addition to showcasing the latest products from Soundcraft, Digico, Midas and Yahama, Adlib (Stand B1) will also be hosting a live demonstration space (Alsh Room 2) on Wednesday 20 January in conjunction with L-Acoustics and Soundcraft. Visitors will be able to listen to the new L-Acoustics X Series and WiFo loudspeakers as well as get their hands on the latest Soundcraft Vi7000, Vi3000 and Si Impact consoles.
Apex Acoustics (Stand C6), Scotland's only Meyer Sound and Digico dealer, will be exhibiting Meyer Sound's new Leopard line array system and 900 LFC sub coupled with Digico's S21 compact console and flagship 256-channel SD7 with Theatre Software.
This year, the LMC Audio Systems stand (B10) will feature the latest in digital consoles from Cadac, Yamaha, Midas and Roland plus premium loudspeaker array technology from Martin Audio and Nexo and a selection from Beyma Professional Loudspeakers. Attendees can check out mics from Shure, Sennheiser and DPA.
Bose (Stand D1) will display everything from new developments in Dante-enabled networking and the capabilities of its ControlSpace engineered sound processors to the expanded RoomMatch Utility loudspeaker range. Also on show will be the new F1 Flexible Array loudspeaker, alongside the traditional L1 Portable Line Array family.
