Open Day on 13 October will offer opportunities to check out the Glasgow premises as well as new rental stock.

Rental firm Adlib is inaugurating its new Scottish warehouse in Glasgow with an Open Day event on Thursday 13 October 2016.

The new warehouse completes the current phase of development which also includes a substantial amount of new equipment and the set-up of a comprehensive infrastructure. The company has invested over £1million in the Scottish operation since its launch at the start of 2015.

The ‘open’ event will provide guests with the opportunity to check out the new premises and meet key members of the Adlib team, together with some of the manufacturers and suppliers/distributors with whom Adlib works closely.

These will include L-Acoustics with their KARA and K2 systems; console manufacturers DiGiCo demo’ing their SD10 and S21 products; Soundcraft highlighting the Vi6 and Vi3000; Midas with their ProX and Pro2 desks plus Shure, Sennheiser and DPA showcasing a selection of their latest products.

There will be hands-on demonstrations so guests can see the new rental stock that Adlib has made permanently available from the Glasgow operation, while a forthcoming training programme to be hosted in the new training facility will be made available to industry professionals working in all sectors.

Graham Cochrane, Steph Fleming, Barclay Dakers and Craig Hamilton from Adlib’s Scottish office will be joined by Andy Dockerty, Dave Kay and John Hughes plus other key members of the team from Adlib in Liverpool to welcome guests, show them around the premises and engage in lively conversation and discussions in a relaxed and convivial social environment.

In the evening, Adlib will host a ‘Meet the Manufacturers’ evening directly after the open day in central Glasgow and will be on hand to answer questions.
