New issue investigates the sound of 'Everest', the international club sound climate and London's newly upgraded Factory Studios.

The October 2015 issue of Audio Media International is available to read online now.

In this month's edition, Adam Savage discovers how the team behind the disaster blockbuster Everest crafted a sound mix that is subjecting audiences to the full force of nature's wrath, while Jim Evans takes a look at the changing landscape of club sound around the world in the wake of the grim news that the number of nightclubs in the UK has almost halved since 2005

Also in the issue, we take a tour of the newly-opened facilities at London's Factory Studios, now the proud recipients of the UK's first Dolby Atmos license for Commercials and Trailers, and in our review section Simon Allen tests out the Nugen Audio Halo Stereo to 5.1/7.1 Upmixer at PMC's fully-equipped Hertfordshire HQ.

Other highlights include an in-depth view of Sweden's pro-audio climate, previews of the upcoming PLASA London and AES New York shows, and we also investigate how The London Studios is crafting their signature sound in the face of recent regulation changes in the broadcast sector.
