More new microphone cables from Telefunken
Manufacturer will introduce new one-metre, two-metre and five-metre Stage Series options at the SXSW Gear Expo in Austin, Texas.
Telefunken Elektroakustik has strengthened its Stage Series line of microphone cables.
The new cables are being introduced later this week (17, 18, and 19 March) at the SXSW Gear Expo, Austin Convention Center, Exhibit Hall 4, Level 1.
Three new lengths are now available, including one-metre, two-metre and five-metre cables: SGMC-1, SGMC-2 and SGMC-5. These join the previous three from the series: SMGC-5R, SGMC-10 and SGMC-10R.
The manufacturer's Stage Series microphone cable has been specially engineered for use on live sound stages, as well as in recording studios. Made from 100% copper wire, Stage Series cable is ideal for lower profile applications around the drum set and percussion rig, as well as on vocals and instruments.
The company's cables are offered in non-standard lengths including the extra lengthy ten-metre (33.3 feet) SGMC-10 and SGMC-10R, which is offered with a right angle XLR, making it ideal for drum sets and percussion with a tight space allowance for a microphone.
Other features include: Copper braid shield for maximum RMI and EMI noise rejection; low capacitance for detailed, transparent sound quality; silver solder joints for maximum conductivity and strength and Telefunken cable tie wrap.
